CEDARVILLE TOWNSHIP -- The 34th Annual Bridgewalk across the Cedar River -- better known as “The Biggest Littlest Bridge Walk! -- takes place on Saturday.
The fun begins at 10 a.m. with music at the Cedarville Township Hall, adjacent to J.W. Wells State Harbor. At 11 a.m., the walk across the Cedar River begins.
Bridgewalk festivities continue at Halfway Bar & Grill, where craft vendors, street food, other food options, drink specials, 50/50 raffles, Chicken-Sh– Bingo and plenty of fun throughout the day will be available. Broke Down Datsun will also be providing live music.
For more than three decades, the Bridgewalk has been about bringing people together. It’s a chance to catch up with neighbors, see familiar faces, enjoy some great food and music and celebrate the community.
Proceeds from this year’s Bridgewalk will benefit CASA of Menominee/Marinette, an organization serving local children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are involved in the court system.
Organizers wanted the money raised through this event to stay close to home and support an organization doing meaningful work for children and families in the local area. CASA’s volunteer advocates step into children’s lives during difficult circumstances.
Attendees are encouraged to bring cash, as cash is preferred for activities and festivities throughout the event.
