KINGSFORD -- Dickinson Conservation District will conduct its first Adopt-a-Highway cleanup at 9 a.m. Saturday.
They will meet at the M-95-M-69 carpool parking lot, the one heading toward Felch.
This is the first Adopt-a-Highway clean-up event DCD has done since submitting for the permit this spring. The section starts from the intersection of M-95/M-69, down 2 miles east on M-69.
The Adopt-a-Highway program has three clean-up event days per year. Those who wish to participate in a clean-up event should go to the Michigan Department of Transportation's Adopt-a-Highway website, https://www.michigan.gov/mdot/programs/highway-programs/roadside-property-management/adopt-a-highway, to contact a local coordinator.
