Two Crivitz, Wis., residents were arrested after a K-9 officer found suspected cocaine in their vehicle during an Aug. 27 traffic stop in the town of Pound, Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller said.
Jon L. Anderson, 61, and Ermalinda Anderson, 62, face charges in Marinette County Circuit Court of possession with intent-cocaine, party to a crime, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Patrol deputies from the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office stopped the vehicle at 5 p.m. Aug. 27 for a traffic violation on County Road B near North 23rd Road, Miller states in a news release. K-9 Vinny was deployed and alerted officers to the odor of illegal narcotics, he said.
A total of 28.8 grams of crack cocaine and 7.8 grams of cocaine was found, according to the news release.
