MENOMINEE COUNTY -- A Daggett man who faced almost a dozen counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct alongside his fiancée has pleaded no contest to two counts.
Travis Scott Thiry, 45, was initially charged with 11 felony counts of first-degree CSC involving a person under the age of 13; one felony count of second-degree CSC involving a person under the age of 13; one felony count of conspiracy to commit a legal act in an illegal manner; one felony count of delivering a controlled substance -- a narcotic or cocaine -- to a minor; one felony count of accosting children for immoral purposes; and one misdemeanor count of selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Thiry recently entered a no-contest plea in Menominee County 41st Circuit Court to two counts of first-degree CSC involving a person under the age of 13, according to court documents. In exchange, the prosecution dismissed all other charges.
He is set to be sentenced Nov. 6 by 41st Circuit Court Judge Christopher S. Ninomiya.
Thiry has been in jail after he was sentenced in April to 23 months to five years in prison after pleading guilty to one felony count of second-degree fleeing a police officer in a separate case. Court records list him as a fourth-time habitual offender.
Thiry's recent plea comes after 39-year-old Rocquel Anne Irving pleaded guilty in the same court in July to one count of first-degree CSC involving a person under the age of 13.
According to Thiry's social media, the pair are engaged.
Irving initially faced three counts of first-degree CSC involving a person under the age of 13, three counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree CSC, one count of second-degree CSC, one count of accosting children for immoral purposes, one count of gross indecency between females and one count of selling or furnishing alcohol to a minor.
In exchange for Irving's plea, the prosecution agreed to dismiss all other charges against her.
Irving also agreed to testify against Thiry at his jury trial that was set to begin Monday before being called off due to his plea.
Irving was sentenced Sept. 4 to 20 to 60 years in prison, with credit for 219 days already served, according to court documents.
The charges against the couple stem from a roughly one-week investigation by the Menominee County Sheriff's Office that led detectives and deputies to execute a search warrant at a Lake Township residence Jan. 28.
Menomonee County Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey T. Rogg released more information on the case after Irving's sentencing.
The sexual assault of a 12-year-old occurred over several months in late 2025 and early this year. According to Rogg, the child "came forward with great courage and sacrificed her own privacy to make a permanent change for herself and likely others."
Irving groomed the child with alcohol, drugs and pornography before sexually assaulting her, according to court documents and information presented in open court.
Thiry also reportedly was involved in the grooming and assault.
Irving and Thiry were lodged in the Menominee County Jail on $750,000 cash bonds after their arrest.
