‘Wellness Wednesday’ event about breast cancer awareness, prevention

IRON RIVER -- The Iron Area Health Foundation sponsored its first "Wellness Wednesday" presentation of the fall Oct. 21 at Young's Recreational Complex.
The presenter for the well-attended event was Dr. Linzi Saigh-Larsen, owner of Upper Peninsula Natural Wellness. Saigh-Larsen spoke about breast cancer awareness, education, support and prevention. She outlined options for lymphatic system support and discussed her top three preventive imaging tools, the importance of proper nourishment of your body, regular movement of your body, prioritizing sleep, getting outdoors as much as possible and resting your nervous system and minimizing stress.
The IAHF and those attending the presentation expressed appreciation to Saigh-Larsen for sharing valuable and useful information regarding breast cancer awareness, education, support and prevention.
