IRON MOUNTAIN — Anne K. Hansen, 38, of Iron Mountain, MI passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.

She was born Oct. 26, 1979, in Traverse City, the daughter of Mark Tunnicliff and Judith Hughes. Anne graduated from West Highland Christian Academy in Milford in 1998 and went on to obtain her teaching degree from Penn Foster College.

She married David Hansen on July 31, 2004, in Manistee. In addition to working closely with her husband in pastoral ministry involving worship arts and youth, Anne taught pre-school for seven years at Grace Baptist Church and Christian School in Saginaw.

She was also a volunteer at PACT Mentoring, serving as a mentor to inner city youth in the Saginaw area. Anne was currently a member of Redemption Hill in Kingsford. She and her husband David loved hiking, taking walks, day trips, traveling, reading the Word of God, praying and going to breakfast together. Anne also enjoyed flowers, and feeding and watching birds.

She is survived by her husband, David; parents, Mark (Penny) Tunnicliff of Traverse City, and Judith (Dennis) Shinn of St. Joseph, Mich.; father and mother-in-law, Norm and Gloria Hansen of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brothers, Max (Jamie) Tunnicliff of St. Joseph, Alex (Melissa) Tunnicliff, Adam Tunnicliff and Abe (Jessica) Tunnicliff, all of Iron Mountain, Matt Ance of Oregon, Ben (Wendi) Shinn of Grand Rapids, Mich., Aaron (Anne) Shinn of Dexter, Mich.; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, all whom she loved very much.

Visitation will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Redemption Hill in Kingsford.

Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Pastor Ron Wolfe and Pastor Alex Tunnicliff will officiate.

Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.
