In years past Viola was the secretary for AAL, now known as Thrivent Financial, for 25 years. She held many positions at Ladies Guilds, including chairwoman of elections for over 20 years, and many other positions too numerous to mention throughout her 101-plus years of Christian life.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed her flower gardens. She was Sears’ first female manager.

Arrangements at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and a Christian burial at Quinnesec Cemetery will be held at a later date.
