Ronald L. Welch
ISHPEMING — Ronald Lee Welch, 73, of Escanaba, died Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Lighthouse at Ishpeming Health & Rehab Center while under the care of UP Home Health & Hospice.
He was born Dec. 30, 1945, in West Allis, Wis., son of the late Harold and Hazel (Valleau) Welch and raised in Hardwood.
Ronald moved to Brainerd, Minn., where he worked for several years as a boat builder.
He will be remembered by his family as someone who was helpful to others.
Ronald is survived by five children; 17 grandchildren; six siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in the Foster City Cemetery in the spring.
