Breanda (Breezy) Joyce Mason

Breanda was born on Aug. 1, 1954, in Newberry, to Kenneth and Edith Fyvie. After graduation from Airport High School, she married and had two children. After spending many years working in the insurance industry, she spent the last nine years working at the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain.

Above anything, family was most important to Breanda, and she especially loved playing with her granddaughter Marlowe. She was an avid horse rider and also enjoyed crafting, drawing, and basket weaving.

Breanda is survived by Keith, her husband of 43 years daughters Bridgett Karkkainen (Matthew) of Royal Oak, Mich., and Lindsay Mason Younan (Eric) of Plymouth, Mich., and granddaughter, Marlowe Younan, also of Plymouth.

She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Fyvie Jr. and sister Melody McLaren.

Breanda is preceded in death by her sisters Virginia and Nora Fyvie.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
