Charles T. Aucutt
LAONA, Wis. — Charles T. Aucutt, 92, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, in Laona.
He served in the US Navy Seabees during World War II. He was a 60-year member of the American Legion. He was a welder at AO Smith and fulfilled his dream of retiring and moving to the Northwoods.
Charles was an avid gardener, fisherman and hunter. He thoroughly enjoyed the art of making maple syrup.
Surviving are his daughter, Judith (significant other Earl) Fleischman; his son James (Vicki) Aucutt; his grandchildren, Donald Fleischman and Anthony (Amanda) Fleischman, Tammy (Joel) Smith, Tom (significant other Kelsey) Aucutt.
He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, Laila and Jaret; other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by the love of his life, Eileen, after 53 years of marriage.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday, Aug. 9 at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home: 170 Warren Avenue, Hartland, WI.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home. Final rest will be in St. Peter’s Episcopal Cemetery, North Lake, Wis., with full military honors.
