Marilyn I. Smokevitch

CRYSTAL FALLS — Marilyn I. Smokevitch, 80, of Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls.

She was born May 21, 1939, in Green Bay, Wis., daughter of the late Harold and Harriett (King) Frank. Marilyn was united in marriage to Albert J. Smokevitch on Nov. 12, 1988, in Hermansville.

She enjoyed reading, cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Albert J. Smokevitch of Crystal Falls; two sons, Vernon (Kari) Miller of Kingsford and Dan (Jennifer) Miller of Aurora, Wis.; two daughters, Debbie Miller of San Angelo, Texas and Pam ( Dale Bilski) Miller of Niagara, Wis.; one brother, David Frank of Seattle; two sisters, Sharon McIntosh of Seattle and Michelle Frank of Seattle; and by seven grandchildren Jim (Jacque) Burke, Aaron (Jennifer) Wojdyla, Dianna Kalczynski, Elizabeth (Doug) Tayler, Jessica Stubsjoen, Crystal (Jon) Allen, Dustin (Shanyn) Miller; and ten great-grandchildren, Kindred, Sawyer, Eden, Dominic, Corey Jr., Caleb, Mason, Sutton, Eve and Walker.

Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Crystal Falls.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Crystal Falls.

Rev. Fr. Dan Malone will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
