Self-employed, Dave owned and operated Lawrence Forest Products until his retirement in 1989.

Dave and Bernie then spent 22 winters at their Green Valley home in Arizona. A daily communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Dave played an active role in the ministries of the parish.
