IRON MOUNTAIN — David John Lawrence, 85, passed away to his eternal reward on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center.

Dave played golf with the same foursome, Jerry, Ron and Allen, for over 18 years, and he always enjoyed his time being an usher at the Diamondback spring training games.

Self-employed, Dave owned and operated Lawrence Forest Products until his retirement in 1989.

Dave and Bernie then spent 22 winters at their Green Valley home in Arizona. A daily communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Dave played an active role in the ministries of the parish.

He is further survived by grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) DuBois of Spalding, Alissa (Kevin) Callahan of Carney, Benjamin DuBois of Spalding, Jacob Lawrence and Emily Lawrence of Hyde; and great-grandson, Timothy DuBois of Spalding; as well as siblings, Nancy (Bob) Robinette and Alice (Jim) Cory.
