Richard J. “Ric” Stream

FLORENCE, Wis. — Richard J. “Ric” Stream, 51, of Homestead, Wis., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at his home.

He was born on March 30, 1968, in New Ulm, Minn., son of Karen (Stream) Saunders and Richard Stream. Ric was raised in the area and attended Florence County Public Schools, graduating in 1986. He studied business and worked at a variety of jobs, but music was his passion.

Ric performed in bands beginning in his high school years with his good friend, Bobby Nichols and his cousin, Brad Johnson. He played with two bands in Green Bay, Wis., and, of late, performed solo at various local venues and in Green Bay. Ric was looking forward to a very busy December.

Ric is survived by his mother, Karen Saunders; his children, Melinda (Ben) Milan and Richard Johnson; a very special friend, Pam Macek, who brought much happiness into his life. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and his father.

Ric was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dennis Saunders; and by his grandparents, Hartley and Marcia Anderson and Wayne and Ruby Stream.

A celebration of life will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Burial will follow at the Aurora Homestead Cemetery.

Ric will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. He left us all too soon, but he will forever be in our hearts.
