John Leppiaho

CRYSTAL FALLS — John Martin Leppiaho, 64, passed away March 12, 2020, while a resident at Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming.

He was born Dec. 10, 1955, the son of Waino and Bernice (Stone) Leppiaho.

John was employed in the summers for the Iron County Park Service while still in high school.

John had a giving heart and enjoyed helping others. He would often respond to calls for assistance for a variety of household maintenance issues. John actively participated with the Crystal Falls Lions Club for many years.

John is survived by four sisters, Karen (Jim) Gorman of Nipomo, Calif., Linda (Tim) Stankewicz of Madison, Wis., Barbara (Doug) Williams of North Pole, Alaska, and Joanne Morehouse of Appleton, Wis.
