Katherine Clara Willard

She was born in Somerville, Mass. on Jan. 23, 1953, the daughter of the late Donald and Agnes (MacLeod) Hodgson.

Kathy served her country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and was very proud of her service.

She married Eugene Willard, he preceded her in death.

She enjoyed NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Mike Paupore) Willard of Kingsford; grandchildren, Wyatt and Zee Paupore; brothers, James (Ann) Hodgson of Tennessee, Keith Hodgson of California and Scott Hodgson of Faithorn; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hodgson; and her life partner, John “Jack” Bettiga.

A military graveside service will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery at a later date.
