CLEVELAND, Ohio — Roger Bruns passed peacefully on May 10 in Cleveland, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Merrill, Wis., on Oct. 23, 1947.
He worked as a school custodian and owned Country Way, a health food and feed store, in Crystal Falls, where he lived for over 20 years before retiring to Palmetto, Fla., in 2006.
He and Mira moved to Cleveland, near his two daughters in 2018.
Beloved husband of Mira (Herrera). Dearest father of Tanya (Zach) Durant, Jason Bruns, and Tamara Bruns. Grandfather of Abby, Samantha, Isaiah, Evy, Landon, Josy, Elly, Ruth, and Nolan. Brother of Iva, Dave, Joe, Gina, Doreen, Debra, and Sheryl.
Preceded by his parents Janice and Nick Schiavone and grandson Zeke Durant.
He was a jack of all trades who loved gardening, fishing, fixing things, being outdoors, making wine, computers, helping people, and hanging out with his family.
