Rita Malm

Born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on Sept. 7, 1926, she was the seventh of nine children of Bert and Anna Jolicoeur.

Rita was raised in Iron Mountain and married “Ken” Malm on March 2, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2001.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jodi LeClaire in 2018.

Rita is survived by her children, Dean (Cindy) Malm, Julie (Rick) Watts, and Dani Malm; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.

Rita loved life and will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Rita’s life will be held at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain on Aug. 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. at funeral home.

Interment to follow at Norway Township Cemetery in Norway.
