Carol Sue Vick

A lifelong resident of the area, Carol was born March 15, 1946, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of Victor and Violet (Roberts) Cerasoli.

She graduated from Iron Mountain High School Class of 1964 and married Richard “Dick” Vick on April 24, 1965, at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford.

Over the years she worked as a receptionist at Dr. Garrett’s office, Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and the Dickinson Neurology Clinic. She was also a cashier and service desk associate at Shopko for over 10 years. She especially enjoyed her Tuesday casino bus trips.

Carol is survived by her children, Gwen (Greg) Gendron of Kingsford, Michelle (Tim) Kleikamp of Breitung Township and Michael Vick of Iron Mountain; a sister, Yvonne Jacobson of Iron Mountain; brother-in-law, Robert (Kaye) Vick of Marquette; a sister-in-law, Alice Dobberpuhl of Marquette; grandchildren Collin (Cheyenne) Gendron of Little Rock, Ark., Sam Gendron of Kingsford, Kasey and Ben Gendron of Iron River, Kristina Kleikamp (fiancee Trent Tell) of Breitung Township and Sarah (Kyle) McGillviray of Kingsford; two great-grandchildren, Briggin Gendron and Ellie Jo Gendron; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, William Cerasoli; and three sisters, Lorraine Joers, Shirley Lindstrom and Barbara Peterson.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at the Quinnesec Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike March officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trillium House in Marquette.
