Rosemary Sjoquist

Rosemary was born June 1, 1938, in Summum, Ill., the daughter of Benjamin and Nelcine (Batterton) Thompson.

She was a talented artist who loved to paint. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald; her son, William (Sarah) Sjoquist; two daughters, Janet Gurlik and Teresa (James) Schabel; brothers, Royce (Nancy) Thompson and Randy (Norma) Thompson; sisters, Marcia (Gene) VanEnkenvort and Linda (Ray) Felhen; grandchildren, Angie, Andrea, Amanda, Danielle, Benjamin and Adam; and great-grandchildren, Rose, Blake, Logan, Kaylee and Jennifer.

Along with her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by a brother, David Thompson, and a son-in-law, Roman Gurlik.

Due to COVID restrictions, services will be held in the spring or summer.
