SARASOTA, Fla. — It is with deep sadness that we share the news from Sarasota, Fla. of the passing of Dora Milbow, on June 23, 2021.

Dora was born on Jan. 9, 1915, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of the late Amedio and Marianne (Rutland) Cerasoli. Dora married Albert Milbow in June 1941, and he preceded her in death in April 1962. Following his death, Dora worked as a kindergarten aide for the Niagara School System where she retired in 1980. She was an exceptional seamstress and also did alterations. He passion was cooking Italian foods (pasta, ravioli, gnocchi) and baking for family and friends.

When asked what the secret was for her longevity, she always said “everything in moderation.” Many of her former kindergarten students have fond memories of Mrs. Milbow.
