NORWAY — Douglas Edward St. Vincent, 76, of Norway, died Monday, July 12, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis. with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Norway, on June 24, 1945, the son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Anderson) St. Vincent. Doug graduated from Norway High School in 1965.
He married his sweetheart Bonnie Mae Paul on June 19, 1965, and together they raised six children.
Doug served his country by joining the National Guard after graduation and served for 15 years.
He owned and operated his own logging business, Doug St. Vincent Forest Products for years. He later worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.
Doug enjoyed restoring many antique cars and trucks through the years. There was nothing he could not fix and was called upon many times for advice and assistance by family and friends.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle in his spare time.
Doug loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly and was always available to help them in any way. His beloved dog “Charlie” was his companion and best friend. He also enjoyed the company of his care giver Norma Deau and looked forward to her visits.
He will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, wife, Bonnie, and his friends.
Doug is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Mae; children, Scott (Cheri Ann) St. Vincent, Lauri (Jim) Gustafson, Chris (Danielle) St. Vincent, Wendy (Jeremie Ottoson) St. Vincent, Eric (Kristen) St. Vincent and Traci (Mark) Moraska; grandchildren, Daniel, Stephen, Hunter, Tayler, Ashley, Briant, Alivia, Alex, Emily, Kurtis, Tori, Lindsey, Charlie, Alexis, Lila and Leo; great-grandchildren, Hank, Angelo, Alonzo, Lorenzo, Stella and Kai; beloved dog, Charlie and special caregiver, Norma Deau.
In accordance with Doug’s wishes private family services will be held.
