GREEN BAY, Wis. — Scott Douglas Oman, 63, of Felch, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay.
Scott was born July 3, 1958, in Iron Mountain, the son of Edwin and Lucille (Dixon) Oman. He graduated from North Dickinson High School in 1976.
Scott was a carpenter and worked with various contractors throughout his 45- year career. He spent 10 years working in Dallas, Texas, and also held positions locally with Closner Inc., Tousignant Drywall and Champion, Inc.
Scott was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Metropolitan and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 1510.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed boating, bird hunting, water skiing, downhill skiing, and riding his Harley. Most of all, he loved time spent with family and friends at Six Mile Lake.
Scott is survived by a sister, Wanda Oman; two brothers, Ron and Robert Oman; a step-daughter, Liz Minkler; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins; and his dog, Sunny.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Oman; his mother, Lucille Oman-Stephan; and siblings, James Oman, Shirley Skogman, Carol Aichner and Barbara Dario.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, at Zion Lutheran Church in Felch.
A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Lee Liverance will officiate.
Burial will be in the Felch Cemetery.
