Sally Kay Maki

Sally Kay Maki

CRYSTAL FALLS — Born Jan. 26, 1970, God took her home on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021.

Sally was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Sally and her dad had a special bond that couldn’t be broken.

Everyone who knew Sally loved her. She was known for her smile, her laughter, her “quick-witted” comebacks and her caring nature.

She loved taking care of people and helping those in need. She loved to cook, and that was her passion. She loved dogs, she loved kayaking and fishing, and spent a lot of time on the water with friends.

Sally loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious! She was the most loveable, kind and thoughtful girl and will be truly missed.

Sally leaves behind her parents, Jim and Karen Maki of Amasa; her son, Shane (Jeanna) Bandola of Crystal Falls, along with her two grandchildren, Addie and Joseph; her twin sister, Sarah (Craig) Sliva of Crystal Falls; brothers, Jamie (Dez) Maki of Salem, Wis., and Jer (Christina) Maki of Quinnesec; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
