Robert Gerstner

FRANKLIN, Wis. — Robert Henry Gerstner of Franklin, Wis., fought his last battle on Sept. 14, 2021.

He was born April 7, 1936. Robert spent 25 years in the U.S. Army fighting to protect the rights and freedoms of America.

He was in Korea and Vietnam. The Army took him to places all over the world. After retiring from the Army he drove semi cross-country delivering products for 27 years.

He is survived by his wife, Robin; sons, Robert (Connie), Ronald (Anna); brothers, Allen (Eiko), Raymond, Rick (Connie), and Randy (Linda); sisters, Rita (Rob), Jeanine (Brian) Johnson; Rhonda Gerstner; stepson, Daniel and stepdaughter, Amity (Joe) Provencher; several grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Isabelle Gerstner; brothers, Ronald and Clarence Gerstner; sister, Joy McCole; and stepson, Brandon.
