CRYSTAL FALLS — Joan Flood of Crystal Falls passed away Sept. 1, 2021, at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain.
She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Chicago, to Daniel and Leona Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James W. Flood; four children and one stepdaughter, Jodie (Danny) Howell of Apopka, Fla., Bruce (Shari) Bellchambers of Candler, N.C., Kimberly (Peter) Swanson of Iron Mountain, James Flood of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Lori (Andy) Piecuch of Manhattan, Ill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Misty, Daniel (Bri), Amanda (Tony), Stacia (Anthony), Todd (Christa), Brittany (KC), Alexi, Sammantha (Rob), Zackary (Tania), Gabriel (Katie), Mackenzie, Emily, Ethan; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Iron Mountain Community Church of Seventh-day Adventists where friends and family can come together and remember a life filled with joy and hope.
