Harry J. Hengesh

He was born Jan. 7, 1926, in Aurora, Wis. to Harry J. Hengesh Sr. and Esther (Larson) Hengesh. Harry was a founding member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Prospect Heights, Ill. a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Mt. Prospect, Ill. VFW Post 1337.

Harry was the beloved husband of the late Vera; loving father of Mark (Linda) Hengesh, Donna (Marshall) Gronemeyer, Susan (John) Earl and David (Jean) Hengesh; cherished grandfather of Allison (Tony) Tranchita, Sarah Hengesh, Jacob Gronemeyer, Michael Gronemeyer, Clay (Heather) Gronemeyer, Lucas Gronemeyer, Kevin Earl, David Earl, Daniel Hengesh and Kimberly Hengesh and great-grandfather of Greyson and Maisie. Harry is also survived by his special friend Viva Gillio.

Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 22 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway. Arlington Heights.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
