MT. PLEASANT, Mich. — Tara Lynn (DeCremer) Malley, 38, of Mt. Pleasant, Mich. and formerly of Niagara, Wis., passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor.
Tara was born Feb. 20, 1983, in Iron Mountain, daughter of Shane DeCremer Sr. and Denise (Lantagne) Lindstrom. She married Jason Malley on Dec. 14, 2007, in Mt. Pleasant. Tara spent most of her married life as a homemaker but had recently been employed by Walmart for about a year. She was described as the best mother and wife, ever loyal to her friends. Tara enjoyed reading, bonfires, spending time with her children, and dearly loved her family.
Tara leaves behind her husband, Jason Malley; children, Cody and Laci Malley; mother, Denise (Rick) Lindstrom of Niagara; father, Shane (Sally) DeCremer Sr. of Tampa, Fla.; siblings, Nichole (David) Annear of Niagara, Shane (Tonya) DeCremer of Sagola, Scott (Kelly) DeCremer of Niagara, Anthony (Jenna) DeCremer of Green Bay, Wis., and Keith (Bridgette) DeCremer of Escanaba; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Bonnie DeCremer of Fence, Wis.; stepsister, Ashley Glime of Washington D.C.; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Giancola of Kingsford; in-laws, Tammy (Greg) Seeley, Thomas (Kathleen) Malley, Angela (Chris) Dutcher, Jean (Kevin) McCaul, and Scott (Debra) Malley; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Tiffiny Johnson, Becky Srikumar, and Stacy Melby.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Doug and Kathy Lantagne; uncle, Chipper DeCremer; parents in-law, Russell and Constance Malley; and brother in-law, Kevin Malley.
Tara’s memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Damitio officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Following the service, all are invited to a luncheon in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Denise Lindstrom. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
A memorial service will also be held on a later date in Tara’s hometown of Niagara.
