HERMANSVILLE — Gary F. Rochon, 80, Hermansville, passed away on Monday May 2, 2022, at the Luther Home in Marinette, Wis.
He was born on March 9, 1942, in Stephenson, son of the late Uldage and Marie (Rabitoy) Rochon.
On July 2, 1960, he married the former Eileen Schuvilier at St. Francis Xavier Church in Spalding.
Gary worked for Grede Foundries in Iron Mountain until his retirement. He enjoyed sports of all kinds and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed deer hunting with his father. Gary loved his family, spending time with them and will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his wife; four children, Peggy (Mike) Draxler, Rodney (Collene) Rochon, Carolyn (Bob) Gregg and Sandy (Larry) Moilanen; siblings, Wayne (Linda) Rochon, Sue (Richard) Hanna, Dennis Rochon, Dale (Cheryl) Rochon and David (Karen) Rochon; grandchildren, Ashley Gregg, Robert (Lisa) Gregg, Tyler Draxler, Kelsey Rochon, Brittany (Jacob) Moreau and Mel Hughey; many great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harlan Rochon; sister-in-law, Bonnie Rochon; brother-in-law, Douglas Murray; and nephew, Chad Rochon.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday May 13, at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday at church with Fr. Benny Mathew officiating. A luncheon will follow Mass in the church parish hall.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Luther Home and Hospice for their great care given to Gary.
