Domenico ‘Domenic’ Rappa

AURORA, Wis. — Domenico “Domenic” Rappa, 80, of Aurora passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in the comfort of his own home.

Domenic was born on March 9, 1942, in Milwaukee, to the late Salvatore and Palmerina (Passante) Rappa. He was a graduate of Bay View High School. After graduation Domenic enlisted with the U.S. Army.

On Nov. 8, 1980, Domenic was married to the love of his life, Donna Bronk, sharing nearly 42 years together. Domenic was a talented painter and was passionate about his work for Ed Weber Inc., retiring in 2004.

In 2005, Domenic and Donna moved to Aurora where he discovered a new passion with the U.P. Garden Tractor Pullers Inc. He loved working on his tractor to compete in the pulls. Domenic also enjoyed spending his time camping and fishing. Above all else, faith and family came first.

Domenic will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Donna Rappa; four children, Grace Bronk, Robert Bronk, Stacey Bronk and Lisa Baldwin; seven grandchildren, Dana (Andy) Baldwin, Dane (Anna) Baldwin, Dallas Baldwin, Angeline Zarate, Mathew Cumber (Jess), Devin Bronk and Gypsy Bronk; five great-grandchildren, Estelle and Eloise Baldwin, and Elijah, Ximena and Davina Zarate; siblings, Rosa (Bruno) Giacomantonio and John (Susan Marcott) Milbeck; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Domenic was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerome Milbeck; grandson, Thomas Frith; and two siblings, Emmanuele Rappa and Marietta Hartung.

Visitation will be at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave., from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, with Fr. Joseph Gouin officiating the funeral service at 2 p.m.
