CRYSTAL FALLS — Beverly Anderson, daughter of Charlie and Eva (Hanson) Stalter, left this life for eternity on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born March 30, 1930, and married James R. Anderson. They were married nearly 60 years and had seven children: six boys and one girl.
She was a busy woman, loving cooking, baking, fishing, canning, and spending time with her children. She blessed many with her wonderful pies and jams. She will be missed for her wonderful hugs, wit, and intelligence, which she maintained to the end.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Carla (Keith) Swanson; her sons, Fred (Becky), Ken (Lynn), Patrick (her main partner in crime and right hand), and Thomas (Theresa); grandchildren, Jennifer, Jim, LeRoy, Melissa, David, Sandy, Michelle, Christopher, and Jill. Beverly had 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband James; and sons, James Jr., and Robert, as well as her great-grandson, Anderson James; her parents; three sisters; and many other family members.
She loved Jesus and developed a wonderful family at the U.P. River and Maranatha Churches.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 11, from 2 until time of service at 3 p.m. at UP River Church in Iron River, with Pastor James Pellizzer officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
