WAUKESHA, Wis. — Patricia “Patty” Mary Occhetti, 89, of Waukesha, Wis., passed away Oct. 27, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Norway, the daughter of Raymond and Esther (Burbey) McCarthy. She grew up and graduated from high school in Niagara, Wis., in 1950 and married Louis C. Occhetti in February 1952 at St Anthony Catholic Church in Niagara. This past year they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Patty is survived by her husband, Louis; and children, Michael and Mary Pat (Occhetti) Block; her grandchildren, Paul (Kristin) and David Occhetti, and Kali and Brandon Block; three great-grandchildren, Charles, Oliver and Nola Occhetti.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Constance; and on grandson, Steven, who recently passed on Sept. 17, 2022.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John Neumann Parish in Waukesha. Patty was laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
