NORWAY — David Anderson of Norway, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023.

He was 83. He was born on June 25, 1939, to the late Carl and Eunice Anderson.

Dave graduated from Kingsford High School and then served in the U.S. Air Force as well as the Naval Reserves. He worked many different jobs, a heavy equipment operator, probation/parole officer and for Cummins Inc.

Dave had many passions in life, but none so much as antique cars and airplanes. He worked at the Chevrolet garage during high school and in the years after rebuilt many classic cars. He attended countless classic car shows winning many accolades for the beautiful vehicles that he had brought back to life!

He also earned his ‘wings’ and enjoyed restoring a few airplanes and taking to the skies whenever he could, again winning many awards along the way.

He is survived by his son, Carl (Dawn) Anderson; daughter, Renee (Rick) Rachell; grandsons, Brendan Greene-Anderson, Carl Anderson Jr, Eric Rachell, Ben Rachell; sister, Beulah DuCharme; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
