GREEN BAY, Wis. — Harry “Bob” Krause, 65, of Green Bay, Wis., passed away early Monday morning, April 3, 2023, at a Green Bay care facility.

Born June 18, 1957, in Iron Mountain, he is the son of the late Bob and Betty (Pillion) Krause. Harry is a 1975 graduate of Niagara High School and later graduated cum laude from UW-Green Bay, with a dual degree in history and political science.

Harry enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Susan LaVassor, whether it was going to concerts or for a good burger.

Harry had an uncanny ability to retain and recall the most obscure facts that would be forgotten by most within five minutes. Harry enjoyed a variety of interests that included current events, politics, sports and especially music.

Harry is survived by his soul mate and dearest love of the past 32 years, Sue LaVassor; three brothers and two sisters, Barry (Diane) Krause, Kathy (Wayne) Summers, Richard Krause, Wendy (Tony Scerca) Krause, and Denny (Song) Krause; many nieces and nephews; Sue’s family; and his canine companion, Winnie.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bob Krause; mom and step-dad, Betty and Herbie Outcalt; grandparents; and nephew, Dan Nault.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Malcore (East) Funeral Home in Green Bay, is serving the family.
