IRON MOUNTAIN — Keith Craig “K.C.” MacFadyen, 80, of Iron Mountain, formerly Channing, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center.

K.C. was born in Hoquiam, Wash., on March 20, 1943. He was the son of the late William Harry and Sylvia Ann MacFadyen. After retirement, K.C. worked many jobs but was particularly fond of his time as the owner of Ace of Clubs in Sagola and driver for TRICO. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, often taking his grandchildren fishing, or with his VFW and American Legion brothers

K.C. will be remembered for his commitment to his family, community, and country. He was a frequent donor to many local organizations and gave back in any way he could. Those close to him will remember his witty humor, love for children, and his passion for scratch offs.

(Nicole) MacFadyen; pseudo son, Ernest O. “Ernie” (Yvette) Vroman; grandchildren, Liam, Fiona, Caidyn, Colm, Garreth, Sadie, Joey, Olivia, and Ewen; pseudo-grandchildren, Ileina, Rebecca, and Zachary; siblings, Wilma Sanderson, Bruce H. MacFadyen, and Neala Madrid; sister-in-law, Alice Crosson; and many nieces and nephews to whom he was a loving and generous uncle.

K.C. is preceded in death by his parents, William and Sylvia, siblings, Barbara H. Stemblom, Ian MacFadyen, and Laura L. MacFadyen.

The burial will be in Channing Cemetery on June 10, at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at the Ace of Clubs in Sagola. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the VA and everyone who has been there for K.C. in his final years.
