KINGSFORD — Clarice “LeNore” Kosovec, 93, of Kingsford, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson.

She was born in Iron Mountain on Dec. 20, 1929, daughter of the late Edwin and Clarice (Corrigan) Olsen. LeNore was a life-long member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Parish. In 1950, she and John were united in marriage, sharing 54 years together before John preceded her in death in 2004. LeNore spent much of her time volunteering all over the community including for the local hospitals, many of the nursing homes, the library, parish and Knights of Columbus events, and she was particularly fond of her time spent in Steve Cavalieri’s special education class. She was a hard worker, taking many positions over the years but ultimately retiring from her career with Ball and Christy Furniture. LeNore will also be remembered for her creative side, shining through not just in her music but also through her poetry and painting.
