Jerry H. Kazianka

He was born Nov. 21, 1947, son of Joseph and Margaret (Sampson) Kazianka. He attended Iron Mountain High School, Class of 1965. He lived in Felch for part of his childhood, then the Iron Mountain area. He also spent a few years in Foster City, where he hand-built his log home.

He married Jeanette Gustafson in January 1967 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.

Jerry worked for many years at MJ Electric, where many knew him as the parts manager. After that he followed his love of the outdoors and ran his own sawmill, cutting lumber.

He is survived by his son, Kevin (Connie) Kazianka; his daughter, Jodi (Trinity) Bjorkman; a daughter-in-law, Robyn (Keith) Kazianka; a sister, Betty (Warren) Wickman; a brother, Bruce (Cheryl) Kazianka; four grandchildren, Elisa (Marcus) Wells, Marcus Kazianka, Madison Bjorkman, Domenic Bjorkman; and two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Paisley Wells.

Jerry is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Jeanette; his son, Keith; brothers, Bill and infant brother, Terry; and sister, Tammy Kazianka.

He also leaves behind many dear friends at Hulst Manor.

Private services will be held at a later date.
