Gregory Allen Bradley

IRON MOUNTAIN — Gregory Allen Bradley, 72, of Iron Mountain, peacefully passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain.

Greg was born Aug. 3, 1951, to Barbara (Paiement) and Alexander Bradley in Mankato, Minn. He grew up and lived his rambunctious young life in Farmington, Minn. After graduating from Farmington High School in 1969, Greg enlisted in the Navy and served for six years, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and First Good Conduct Award.

After his honorable discharge, Greg worked in a mental health facility caring for others and eventually went back to school to be a dental technician. The chief of Oscar G. Johnson VAMC Dental Services recruited Greg for his fine artistic dental lab skills, which is what brought Greg to Iron Mountain, where he would remain until retirement in 2014.

It was in Iron Mountain where Greg met the love of his life, Lori (Richards) Bradley, and they were married on May 19, 2006. The two resided in Iron Mountain, but mainly they enjoyed spending time at their camp in Florence, Wis., and traveling the country on their Harleys. Although they did not have children, they enjoyed spending time with their dogs, Max and Buster.

Greg was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal and brave. He was a clever man, and filled to the brim with knowledge, knowledge gained through all of his life experiences, being a hunter, fisherman, golfer, motorcycle enthusiast, artist and harmonicist.

Greg is survived by his brother, David (Arlene) Bradley of Santa Fe, N.M.; a nephew, Diego Bradley of Santa Fe; a sister, Carol Johnson of Minnesota; good friends, Marian (Paul) Johnson of Florence, and Richard (Cate McKegney) Seurer of Fridley, Minn.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Kisor; father, Alexander Bradley; sister, Dianne Bradley; and wife, Lori Bradley.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with friends and family. He truly loved each of them, and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity and strength, and was full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.

In typical Greg fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. He would love to be remembered with funny, strange, or silly stories that celebrate what was good in his life.

Condolences may be expressed to the family of Gregory Allen Bradley online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com.

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
