Carolyn Janet Tichelaar

HERMANSVILLE — Carolyn Janet Tichelaar, 83, of Hermansville, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility. She was born April 30, 1940, in Daggett, to the late Richard and Lillian (Gulbransen) Lindstrom. Carolyn graduated from Stephenson High School. She married George Tichelaar and he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2014. Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and being with her grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Roger (Toni Berg-Weier) Tichelaar of Green Bay, Wis., Rodney Tichelaar of Hubbell, and Kevin (Robyn) Tichelaar of Powers; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Tiffany, Austin, Dylan, Peyton, Maycee and Brantley; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Earl and Kennth Lindstrom, both of Carney; four sisters, Doris Green of Los Angeles, June (Harold) Graves of Everett, Wash., and Elaine (Jay) Warman of Menominee; and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joyce Crockett; and three brothers, George, Robert and Vernon Lindstrom.

Visitation for Carolyn will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Fr. Benny Mathew officiating.

Burial will be in Meyer Township Cemetery.
