Charlotte Parrotta

Charlotte was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Stambaugh, daughter of the late Ernest and Lorretta (Grant) Autio. She graduated from Iron River Schools and married Joseph Parrotta in Iron River in 1963.

She worked as a police dispatcher and enjoyed decorating and shopping. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Joseph; three daughters, Lynn (Craig) Patterson, Michelle (Christopher) Rexses, and Gina VanOss; a brother, James Mitchell; two sisters, Beverly (Paul) Bjorkman and Marilynn Patterson; five grandchildren, Brock, Emily, Jake, Josie, and Trenton; and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Mason, and Nolan.

Visitation will be held 9 to 11 am on Friday, Nov. 24, at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain with an 11 a.m. service to follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
