Francis A. Schinderle

NIAGARA, Wis. — Francis A. Schinderle, 54, of Niagara, passed away on November 2 at his home due to health issues.

Fran was born on May 10, 1969, in Iron Mountain, the son of Dorothy Schinderle. He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1987, and then attended college for Auto Mechanics. He worked at Khoury’s and then at Northwoods Manufacturing, where, for 20 years, he worked as a fabricator.

He loved working with and building things with metal. Anyone who knew Fran knew his love of cars, engines, and especially guns, but his greatest loves were his mother, Dorothy, his children, and his grandchildren. His motto for them was “no matter what, no matter where, no matter when .. I’ll be there.” He loved his adventures with them, whether it was the trip to New York with his daughters or Monster Jam with the grandkids. That was how he started collecting Monster Jam diecast trucks (Gravedigger) for the grandkids.

Fran is survived by his mother, Dorothy Schinderle; his children, Jered Schinderle, Shannon (Juan) Guthridge, Ashlee (Nathaniel) Dunlap, Maralee (David) Mort, James (Nikki) Peterson, and Jacob (Hayley) Peterson; aunts, Dolores Hamby and Sheila (Mark) Schinderle; his hearts (11 grandchildren), Huxley, Adaline, Jackson, Blake, Noah, Jonah, Phoenix, Maisleigh, Sylah, Olliene and Emerald; nephew, Travis Schinderle; special niece and nephew, Addisen and William Barglind; many cousins; very special friends, Lisa Fox, Ron Carlson and John Knudsen; and his cats, Marilyn and Scarlett.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Schinderle; grandparents, Michael and Sylvia Schinderle; and aunt, Theresa Schinderle.

Private services for the family will be held at a later date.
