Victor Wayne Goodman

Victor was born June 12, 1961, in Rice Lake, Wis., son of Glenn and Lee Ann (Sparapani) Goodman. He worked as a capper operator for Hayes Manufacturing/Sonoco before working at Walmart in Appleton, Wis., and Iron Mountain. A patron of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since he was 16 years old, Victor was a DJ and a volunteer at the Appleton Hospital and the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. He loved vacationing, and he loved his Dallas Cowboys.

Along with his parents, Victor is survived by a sister, Sharon (Dan) Jarvis of Iron Mountain; a brother, Jack (Sandi) Goodman of Shiocton, Wis.; a niece, Kira LeNoble; three nephews, Corey (DeAnna) LaFontaine, Kirk Goodman and Christopher Goodman; three great-nieces, Summer Goodman, Iva LaFontaine and Elly LaFontaine; a great-nephew, Calvin Goodman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Jean Sparapani, and Frank and Gussie Goodman; uncles, Ric Sparapani and Jerry Sparapani; three more uncles, Lee Goodman, Don Goodman and Joel Smith; and three aunts, Rita Schroeder, Jackie Goodman and Carol Sparapani.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. Pastor Bryan Laurila will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in Victor’s name.
