Beverly A. Wright

Bev was born Oct. 10, 1934 in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Louis and Elsie (Nelson) Bazilli. She attended Iron Mountain High School and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Bev married Gerald “Jerry” Wright on April 11, 1953 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2014.

Bev worked most of her life at local bakeries including The City Bakery, Super Valu, and most recently at Econo Foods. Everyone who knew her knew she was full of energy and “loved her customers.”

She enjoyed music, dancing and keeping her house tidy and clean. Most of all, Bev loved spending time with her family and especially adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She hosted many family gatherings and meals at her home, there was always room for everyone.

Bev is survived by a son, Gerald (Kim) Wright of Norway; a daughter, Patti Milinski of Kingsford; eight grandchildren, Angel (Ron) Johnston, Brandon (Roberta) Wright, Richard (Katie) Wright, Alex (Christina) Milinski, Brian (Sylvie) Milinski, Mollie (Tyler) Langer, Jeremy Milinski and Brett (Madison) Milinski; nine great-grandchildren, Danna, Isabel, Emma, Kylie, Isaiah, Mya, Theo, Chloe and Otto; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Denise (Tom) Hurzeler.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bev was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Michael Milinski and a brother, Gordon Bazilli.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.

A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Msgr. Joseph Gouin will officiate.

Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park.
