HERMANSVILLE — Beatrice “Bea” Hornik, 86, of Hermansville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, Wis.
She was born on April 9, 1937, in Nathan, daughter to William and Virginia (Bouchonville) Wendricks. Bea was raised in Nathan and graduated from Stephenson High School, Class of 1955.
On Sept. 1, 1956, Bea married Donald Hornik at St. Bruno Church in Nadeau. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2023.
Bea was employed at Les Brown Chair Co. for more than 30 years as a seamstress.
She enjoyed baking, gardening her flowers and spending time with family. Bea was a member of St. John Neumann Church in Hermansville.
Among survivors include her children, Debra (Tony) Kleiman of Wilson, Rick (Roxann) Hornik of Iron Mountain and Robert (Tammie) Hornik of Daggett; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Hornik.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Donald, Beatrice was preceded in death by brothers, Norman and William Wendricks.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2nd at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding, with Rev. Dan Polzer officiating. A meal will follow in the church hall.
Burial will be in Spalding Township Cemetery.
