Brendan H. Corsi

IRON MOUNTAIN — Brendan H. Corsi, 23, of Iron Mountain, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, Jan. 17, 2024, with his family by his side at University Hospital in Madison, Wis., following unexpected complications of a rare heart defect.

He was born in Iron Mountain on Feb. 11, 2000, to Rob and Jennifer (Fries) Corsi. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Kingsford Schools with the Class of 2019. He held various jobs over the years in retail, food service and hospitality, most recently managing the local Domino’s.

Brendan was very easy going and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. No matter where he was, he always had a smile on his face and was cracking jokes to make everyone around him laugh. He was a selfless individual who was always there for everyone and always made sure everyone felt included. When he was younger, Brendan enjoyed taking apart everything he came across just to see how things worked. He enjoyed going on long walks, playing video games (especially the Sims), and playing with his dogs. His special dog was Madison, whom he will meet again in Heaven. He became interested in plants after his Grandma Lori passed away, and he loved watching them grow.

Brendan was a special human to everyone who knew him and he made an impression wherever he went. He was truly one of a kind and will forever leave a hole in the hearts of those who loved him the most.

Brendan was preceded in death by both maternal grandparents, Steven and Lori Fries.

Left to cherish his memory are Brendan’s parents, Rob and Jennifer Corsi; sisters, Sydney (Wyatt) Gibler and Kyley Corsi; and paternal grandparents, Bob and Vicky Corsi, all of Iron Mountain; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family members and friends, too numerous to mention all by name.

A public visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account has been set up in Brendan’s name at https://www.gofundme.com/f/brendan-corsi.
