KINGSFORD — Ila Marie Calvi, 97, of Kingsford, passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain.
She was born on May 27, 1926, in Norway, to the late Clyde and Emma Madson.
She enjoyed watching the Packers, bowling, golfing, and playing bocce ball.
Ila is survived by her sons, David Stevens and Jeff (Lana) Stevens; daughter, Sandy (Bob) Smith; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calvi; son, James Calvi; brother, Alan Madson; and sisters, Virginia Kolesar and Irene Mitchell.
A graveside service for Ila will be announced in the spring.
Burial will be at Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain in the spring.
