IRON MOUNTAIN — Nancy S. Mosher, 85, of Iron Mountain, passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 19, 1938, in Bay City, Mich., daughter of the late Oliver and Evelyn (Neveau) Marlow. Nancy grew up and attended school in Bay City. She married Robert Mosher on June 11, 1955, in Charleston, S.C. They moved to the U.P. in 1968 and resided in Upper Pine Creek. Robert preceded Nancy in death on July 25, 1998.
She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, working in her flower garden, watching and feeding the deer, and everything the outdoors had to offer. Most of all, Nancy enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She was known as a very sweet and timid lady, and everyone loved her.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffery (Joetta) Mosher of Niagara, Wis., and Robert Mosher of Kingsford; two daughters, Pamela Smith of Kingsford, and Cheryl Mosher of Kingsford; six sisters, Harriet Zoe of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Evelyn, Debbie, Janice, Vickie and Patty; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special great-granddaughter, Paige Smith and ex son-in-law, Allen Smith.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Robert, Nancy was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Mortl; one sister, Barbara Kolb; and two brothers-in-law, Lenny Zoe and Don Mckitrick.
Graveside services will be held at the Felch Cemetery in the spring.
