Patricia Kay Gill

Patti was born Sept. 11, 1950, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Anthony and Louise (Orella) Fontecchio. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School, Class of 1968, and attended Bay de Noc Community College. Patti married Jeffrey Gill on Oct. 17, 1970, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain, and she worked as an LPN in Dr. Batti’s office for more than 30 years before retiring in 2013.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Louis Leslie; and her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Catherine Gill.

Patti is survived by her husband, Jeff; her three daughters, Kristi (Mike) Solda of Norway, Julie (Dave) Van Holla of Iron Mountain and Karen (Dan) Luckow of Kaukauna, Wis.; a brother, John (Kelly) Fontecchio of Plymouth, Minn.; seven grandchildren, Matt and Tony Solda, Ada, Jeffrey and Donna Van Holla, and Drew and Natalie Lukow; a brother-in-law, John (Jill) Gill; a special sister-in-law, Mary Beth Leslie; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, with a service to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Michael Woempner will officiate.

Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers include Mike Solda, Matt Solda, Tony Solda, Dan Luckow, Drew Luckow, Dave Van Holla and Jeffrey Van Holla.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Patti’s name.
