JANESVILLE, Wis. — Lois A. Osby, 88, passed away peacefully on Feb. 14, 2024, at SSM Health in Janesville.
Lois was born in Iron Mountain on June 16, 1935, the daughter of John and Lillian (Tofte) Osby. Lois worked as a dedicated aid at the Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
Lois had a strong faith base and was a member of Faith Community Church and New Life Assembly of God, where she enjoyed bible study with friends. Lois’s family meant everything to her. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a long-time member of the Janesville Athletic Club, the Lois Club and the Janesville Art League.
She was a self-taught artist who enjoyed creating with watercolor mediums. Her artwork has been displayed at JPAC.
Lois was an animal lover who left behind her precious cat, Suki, and beloved dogs, Zoe and Hilde.
Lois is survived by her four children: Terry Geronimi, Joni (Eric) Cullen, Jeanine Wirth and Paul Geronimi; ten grandchildren: Dryden (Heather Northrup) Geronimi, Hallie (Chris) Kohn, Ayrio Cronin, Alex (Corina) Wirth, Aaron (Amber) Wirth, Joe (Jordan) Wirth, Ty (Celeste) Cullen, Stefan Wirth, Lydia Cullen and Cooper (Céline) Cullen; 18 great-grandchildren; caring son-in-law, David Wirth; good friend, Selena Corbett; and many extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her children’s father, Jack Geronimi; and five siblings.
Lois’s family would like to thank Dr. Mark McDade and the nurses at SSM Health for their incredible kindness and exemplary care.

A private memorial service will be held.
