Robert Earl Lund

Robert was born June 30, 1960, in Iron Mountain, to the late Wilbur and Betty (Annear) Lund. He graduated from Kingsford High School, Class of 1979.

On Feb. 29, 1984, he married Kathleen Phillips. Robert worked at Martens Manufacturing for 25 years prior to the plant’s closure. He held various jobs in the area until he retired in April 2021.

Robert was an avid small game and deer hunter. He loved being outdoors, whether it was spending time at camp or in the backyard.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lund; son, Adam (Ashleigh) Lund; daughter, Stephanie (Barlow) Heider; sister, Nancy (Franklin) Nau; grandchildren, Noah Lund, Delilah Lund, Zeke Lund, Izzy Lund and Eva Grace Heider; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Robert is further survived by numerous friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Ray Lund.
