IRON MOUNTAIN — Logan Xavier Collins, born on June 26, 1996, in Elkhorn, Wis., and raised in Iron Mountain, peacefully passed away on March 12, 2024, in Auburn, Ga., after battling complications from diabetes. He was 27 years old.

Logan was a beacon of warmth and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Known for his unwavering passion and his heartwarming humor, he had a unique gift for lifting spirits and bringing laughter to even the darkest of moments. His contagious laugh remains a cherished memory among his many lifelong friends.

A true artist at heart, Logan’s creative spirit knew no bounds. From his early years, he poured his soul into his art, infusing each piece with a vibrant energy that captivated all who beheld it.

He was quoted saying “I make art and all sorts of projects, mostly for the love of creating something for others to enjoy.”

Whether he was sketching, painting, sculpting, or woodworking, Logan’s creations were a testament to his boundless imagination and talent.

Logan leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply: his devoted mother, Rosina; his steadfast father, Max; his supportive older brother, Shane (Alexandra); his caring older sister, Kaitlin (Justin); his adoring younger brother, Drew; and his beloved younger twin sisters, Violet (Tucker) and Lily (Jacob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including: Regan, Rosina, Rorik, Lucas, Oliver, Aaron and Palmer.

To honor Logan’s remarkable life and legacy, a celebration will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at the Sagola Township Community Building.

Friends, family, and admirers alike are invited to join in commemorating his journey and the beauty he brought to the world through his art. Many of his treasured works will be displayed, serving as a reminder of his enduring impact.
